beem Light Sauna Green Hills

3760 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN

beem Light Sauna Green Hills is the Nashville studio of the beem infrared-and-red-light franchise, in the Glendale Center strip on Hillsboro Pike between Elan Hair and Kalamatas, just south of the Mall at Green Hills. Owners Jay and Stephanie Walton, long-time Nashvillians whose kids are competitive athletes, got into light therapy after red light sped a daughter's post-surgery recovery, and opened here in fall 2024. The format is light-first and heat-second: seven private infrared rooms (two of them social saunas built for two), plus separate light rooms, each with a built-in iPad, Bluetooth speakers, eight chromotherapy colors and a scented towel waiting on the bench. There is no cold plunge and no shower; this is a bright, clean, 40-minute sweat you can fold into a Green Hills errand run. An infrared session is 40 minutes, a medical-grade red light session is 15, and the two are meant to be stacked; the advanced light room mixes green, blue and red for guests who want the benefits without the heat. Wear loose clothing or nothing in a solo room (a swimsuit if you share), remove lotions first, bring a water bottle for the dispenser, and plan to arrive on time, since more than 10 minutes late cancels the slot with a $25 fee. The first visit is $29, a single session after that is $49, ten sessions plus ten free is $389, and memberships run $129 a month for four sessions, $169 for eight and $199 for unlimited infrared and red light with ten advanced-light sessions thrown in; one session per day, HSA/FSA accepted. Minimum age is 16 with a parent's signature under 18. Reviewers are consistent about the spotless rooms and the welcoming front desk, and Nashville Fit readers have been offered a free first sauna and red light session for mentioning the magazine.
