beem Light Sauna Short Pump

11759 W Broad St, Henrico, VA

beem Light Sauna Short Pump is a light-therapy studio on West Broad Street in Henrico's Short Pump retail corridor, part of the national beem chain. Instead of a shared hot room, every booking is a private suite: a full-spectrum infrared sauna that layers near, mid and far infrared wavelengths, with a built-in screen for shows or music and eight chromotherapy colors to set the mood. Alongside the saunas the studio runs red, green and blue light therapy, including a full-body red light bed, as quick stand-alone sessions. It suits anyone who wants a quiet, low-pressure sweat with nobody else on the bench, and first-timers who find a 190°F Finnish room intimidating. Infrared sessions run 40 minutes and red light sessions 15, booked through beem's app or member site; Solo Saunas are for one, Social Saunas fit two, so it works as a weekday date or a sweat with a friend. Pricing is built around packs and memberships: 5 sessions are $229, 10 are $389 and 20 are $629, while month-to-month memberships run $129 for 4 sessions, $169 for 8 and $199 for the unlimited tier. First-time guests get a buy-one-get-one intro session. Towels are provided; wear loose breathable clothing or a swimsuit, and skip lotions and oils beforehand. Guests 16 and 17 need a parent or guardian's signed consent. The studio opens early, at 6:30 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays and 7:30 a.m. other days, and stays open until 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, which makes it easy to fit a session around a Short Pump workday or errand run. There is no cold plunge here, so pair it with a cold shower at home if you want contrast.
