Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness is the giant wellness floor that links The Venetian and The Palazzo, entered from level four of The Venetian or level three of The Palazzo, with about 134,000 square feet of spa, salon and gym. The thermal heart is Aquavana, a European-style circuit of hot, warm and cold environments: a Finnish dry sauna reported around 175°F with crystal-refracted light, a crystal steam room, a mosaic-tiled herbal laconium, the Igloo cool room that sprays chilled air and arctic mist, and the Wave Room, where loungers tilt back under a domed ceiling of projected waves and an ocean soundtrack. Shared whirlpools and saunas, a Salt Grotto with heated stone seats and the co-ed Conservatory lounge round it out. Non-guests can buy a day pass, and it is one of the few Strip spas that sells all-day access without a treatment: $125 Monday to Thursday and $150 Friday to Sunday for the public, and $100 / $150 for Venetian guests, subject to availability. The pass covers locker rooms with robe, slippers and showers. Spa hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Full access is 18+, teens 14 to 17 can come with a parent or guardian, and bathing suits are required everywhere, so pack one. Plan on a long visit rather than a quick sweat: a fitness center with a 40-foot climbing wall, a salon and barbershop, and the Canyon Ranch Grill and Truth & Tonic cafe are all on the same floor, so a day pass easily stretches from a morning workout to an afternoon in the Wave Room. There is no cold plunge; the cold side of the circuit is the Igloo and the cold-water features in Aquavana.
