Club Philly

1220 Chancellor St, Philadelphia, PA

Club Philly is the Gayborhood's men's bathhouse, tucked onto Chancellor Street at the corner of Camac and open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The building has operated as a bathhouse for decades; after a 2012 gas fire it was renovated top to bottom and reopened in May 2013 under the Club Philadelphia name, with heated floors, new tile, a dry cedar sauna and a steam room as the thermal core alongside lounges, a small gym and private rooms. It serves gay, bi and other men who have sex with men, and is an adult venue: guests must be 18 or older with valid photo ID, and a membership fee is charged at the door on top of admission. Entry is walk-in only, priced by what you rent: a locker is about $24, private rooms run about $32 to $57, and a towel fee applies. Bring your own sandals, as slippers are not provided. Expect the sauna and steam room to be part of a social, cruising environment rather than a quiet spa. Because it never closes, it is one of the few places in the city where you can get into a sauna or steam room in the middle of the night.
