Fit Athletic Club Little Italy is a 28,000-square-foot club inside the Carte Hotel on West Ash Street, one of three Fit locations in San Diego. Recovery runs through the whole building: dry saunas and steam rooms in the locker rooms, a cold plunge, a saltwater pool and hot tub with lounge cabanas, plus self-service cryotherapy, red light, compression and massage chairs, with massage therapy available to book. Like its East Village sibling it is an upscale social gym first, with reformer Pilates, yoga and group classes included in membership. Day passes are listed at $60 and cover all three Fit clubs; membership pricing is by tour or phone. A good fit for downtown and Little Italy locals who want sauna, steam and cold in one stop, with two hours of free validated parking nearby.
