Hot Haven is a small, family-owned infrared studio on Grape Street in Bankers Hill, a few blocks from Balboa Park. Every session is 55 minutes in your own private room, with two ways to take the heat: a cocoon-style far-infrared body wrap that delivers the deepest sweat in the studio, or a Sunlighten mPulse cabin with near, mid and far infrared and room to sit up and stretch out. Lymphatic compression is the studio's other signature, and the Haven Ritual books the two back to back. It suits people who want a quiet, unhurried hour of heat rather than a quick in-and-out session. The cabin is the only session you can share, for $25 extra, which makes it an easy pick for couples or friends. Every service is the same price — $50 for a first visit, then $59 — with packs down to $36 a session and memberships from $49 a month. Outfits, towels and water are provided, and sessions are HSA/FSA eligible.
