IMR Float is a float spa in a Henderson shopping center on South Eastern Avenue that has grown into a private contrast-therapy studio. Its Fire & Ice room is a booked-by-the-hour suite with a traditional electric sauna that reaches about 200°F (pour water on the heater to push it higher), a 37 by 68 inch plunge tub held anywhere from the mid-30s to around 50°F, a shower and a timer on the wall. There is also a separate full-spectrum infrared sauna, plus float cabins and an open float room filled with more than a thousand pounds of Epsom salt. Everything is by appointment and the rooms are yours alone, which makes it a natural pick for couples (a Couples Only membership works in the Fire & Ice and Double Wave rooms) or anyone who wants to play their own music in the heat. A regular Cold Plunge + Sauna session is listed at $75 per person, with first-timer intro pricing around $59 to $65 and infrared-only sessions at $35 ($20 intro). Credit memberships start at $59 a month for one credit usable on either a float or a Fire & Ice session, and credits roll over and can be shared. The studio suggests starting with about 10 minutes of heat and a minute in the plunge and building from there. Note it is closed on Thursdays. The studio bills the Fire & Ice room as the first dedicated cold plunge room in the Las Vegas valley, and the combination of float, infrared and contrast under one roof means you can book a float for the rest day and the plunge for the hard one.
