Lapis Spa & Wellness

2777 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

Lapis Spa & Wellness is the 55,000-square-foot, two-level spa inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the resort that opened at the north end of the Strip in December 2023, and its first floor is built as a contrast-therapy circuit called Celestial Waters. The headline is the Event Sauna, a theater-in-the-round room billed as one of the largest Aufguss saunas in the country, where an Aufgussmeister performs 15-minute rituals with dancing towels, aromatherapy and projections on a 110-inch screen, on the hour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Around it sit an infrared sauna, steam rooms, a salt mist chamber, a Himalayan salt room, vitality pools, cold-plunge pools, a snow shower, star showers, heated tepidarium chairs and a Stargazing Lounge, split between men's and women's hydrotherapy lounges and a large co-ed area. Access comes with a treatment or with the Celestial Waters Passport, which gives four hours on the circuit. The day runs in two moods: Lo-Tide mornings (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with low light, calm music and lavender, and Hi-Tide afternoons (2 to 7 p.m.) with upbeat music and a party-style Aufguss that suits groups. Lapis does not publish the passport price; a 2026 review put a day pass at roughly $200 and a 60-minute massage around $264 with gratuity, and reported that non-hotel guests can book only Monday to Thursday. Phones are not allowed in the spa areas, and it is not a come-and-go spa, so bring what you need. If you want a proper hot-cold routine on the Strip, this is the most complete one: guides lead the Aufguss and coach first-timers through the cold plunge. For a group of up to six, the Supernova Suite adds a private lounge and whirlpool for a four-hour block with circuit access.
