Main Line Float and Freeze
24 W Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA
Main Line Float and Freeze is a private recovery studio on Lancaster Avenue in downtown Ardmore, owned by Sean Fleming and built around four float tanks (three private cabins and one open float room big enough for couples). Alongside the floats it runs a private infrared sauna with chromotherapy lighting, a cold-plunge tub and NormaTec compression boots, so you can stack heat, cold and recovery in one quiet visit. Everything is by appointment and private. Infrared sessions are $25 for 20 minutes or $40 for 40, with a 40-minute couples sweat at $60; a cold plunge is $35, or $259 for a ten-pack. The $149 Immunity Package strings together a float, a 40-minute sauna and a plunge in that order, and the $69 monthly membership's credit covers any three sauna or plunge sessions, with a friend joining free. A free compression session comes with any appointment. Book through the studio's FloatHelm page. It is closed Tuesdays and opens mid-afternoon on Mondays, with garage parking behind the building. It suits Main Line runners and lifters looking for a quick, inexpensive solo sweat and plunge, and couples who want a float-and-sauna date in private rooms rather than a shared bathhouse.
