Oleksandra Spa & Salon
3300 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV
Oleksandra Spa & Salon, known as O Spa, is the third-floor spa at Treasure Island on the Strip, designed by Oleksandra Nikolayenko-Ruffin, Miss Ukraine-Universe 2001, and it carries a piece of her heritage that no other Las Vegas resort spa has: a Russian banya. Alongside a standard resort wet area with a dry sauna, steam room and whirlpool, the banya is a wetter, more humid hot room where a therapist pours essential-oil water over hot rocks, fans the heat with a warmed oak or birch venik, then uses the leaf whisk to brush and tap you before a cool-down. The spa facility (sauna, steam and whirlpool) costs $60 a day for visitors and $50 for hotel guests, and the fee is waived on any day you book a massage, facial or body treatment. The banya experience is booked as a treatment, a venik massage at $150 on weekdays and $175 Friday to Sunday. Nevada residents get 20% off. The wet areas are a clothing-optional, adults-only (18+) environment and a cell-phone-free one; robes and sandals are provided, and the spa asks you to arrive 30 minutes early to change and use the heat. It is closed Tuesdays and runs 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days, until 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The spa reopened in August 2022 after the pandemic closure and is intimate by Strip standards, which suits the banya: book the venik session, then linger in the sauna and steam afterwards.
