Origin Wellness is a tech-forward recovery studio on Forest Park Avenue in Midtown, a few blocks from Saint Louis University, offering more than twenty touch-free services you can mix and match. Heat comes from a personal far-infrared dome sauna, a lie-down unit that covers the body and runs around 150°F for 30 minutes, and the cold from a whole-body cryotherapy chamber; the rest of the menu includes an Iso Float tank, a salt room, red light, PEMF, compression massage and an oxygen bar. It is built for one person at a time, so it works well for students and first-timers who want to try infrared heat or cryo without committing to a gym or a social sauna. The infrared sauna and cryo are each $40 a la carte ($28 for members) and a 60-minute float is $65. Wellness Essentials is $90 a month for three solo services plus 30% off the rest, and Premium is $250 a month for unlimited solo services, both on a three-month minimum.
