Pause Studio West Nashville opened on November 15, 2025 in the oneC1TY development off Charlotte Avenue, across from Sandbar and Avo and a few minutes from Sylvan Park, The Nations and the HCA and Vanderbilt campuses. It is the second Nashville studio from owners Mike and Zach Bailey and the larger of the two: eight fully private, spa-like suites with ambient lighting, Le Labo bath products and Rishi herbal tea, including an ADA-accessible contrast suite. Each contrast suite pairs a full-spectrum infrared sauna that reaches about 158°F with a cold plunge kept around 45-48°F and an en-suite shower, so the whole hot-cold cycle happens behind one door. Pause sells everything in credits: a 60-minute contrast session is 6 credits (30 minutes is 4), a sauna-only hour is 4, a float is 3, and cryotherapy, the LED light bed and compression are 1 each. Memberships run Core ($149 a month, 12 credits), Signature ($239, 22), Premium ($339, 34) and VIP ($449, 50), all with 25% off à la carte services and a sauna or contrast guest pass or two each month; a Plus One can share a Signature or higher plan for $49. Credits bought at one Nashville studio work at the other. First-timers get 30% off a first service, walk-ins are welcome but booking ahead through the Pause app is wiser, and ages 16-17 can use the suites with a parent's written consent. Beyond the suites it has float tanks, whole-body cryotherapy, a red light bed, Normatec compression, an open IV lounge with vitamin and NAD+ drips, and one of the city's few Aescape robotic massage tables, which scans your body and lets you set pressure and focus areas on a touchscreen. A small boutique sells LMNT, cupping kits and massage guns. Early reviewers call out the spotless sauna and plunge, easy free street parking and the flexibility of booking a post-lift recovery hour on a weekday morning.
