Purify Short Pump
301 Maltby Blvd Ste C, Henrico, VA
Purify Short Pump is the West End sister to Purify's original Patterson Avenue studio, opened in 2017 in the Greengate area off West Broad Street and the only Purify with cold water. The setup is private from start to finish: infrared sauna suites run around 120-140°F with color-changing chromotherapy and medical-grade red light in every session, and a Renu cold plunge tank kept at about 50°F turns a sauna visit into a full contrast routine. A standard infrared session is 40 minutes and $39, with shareable packs of four and eight. The contrast session is the reason to choose this location: you get the room for up to an hour and cycle two or three times through up to 15 minutes of heat, one to five minutes in the plunge and a short rest, for $59 a session, $199 for four, or $149 a month for four contrast visits. Plunge-only visits are $19, sauna memberships run $99 to $209 a month, and an unlimited sauna-plus-plunge membership is $299, all month to month and good at both studios. A bathing suit is required for the plunge, you need to be able to swim, and you must shower before getting in; intake paperwork is texted before your first visit. Cancel at least four hours ahead. It is a calm, beginner-friendly way to try hot-cold contrast without a crowd, with the guidance on timing written out for you rather than a coach in the room.
