Qua Baths & Spa

3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

Qua Baths & Spa is the 50,000-square-foot spa inside Caesars Palace, built around a Roman bathing ritual rather than a single steam room. The heart of it is a circuit of three Roman baths at stepped temperatures (a warm tepidarium, a hot caldarium and a cold frigidarium), joined by an herbal steam room, a cedarwood laconium sauna and a whirlpool. The signature room is the Arctic Ice Room, where snowflakes fall through cold, mint-scented air: the Strip's best-known place to shock the system after the heat. You do not need to stay at Caesars or book a treatment. Non-guests can buy a spa pass, listed on ResortPass from $120 (third-party guides quote about $110 for a three-hour pass, and hotel guests pay less, from about $65). The pass covers the Roman baths, sauna, steam, whirlpool and Arctic room, with robe, slippers and towels. The Roman baths are split by gender and swimwear is optional there, while the laconium is co-ed and towels stay on. Guests must be 18 or older. The bathing areas open early (7 a.m. per ResortPass) and treatments run 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.. For contrast-therapy fans this is the most complete hot-cold circuit on the Strip: go caldarium, frigidarium, then a few minutes in the Arctic room, and finish in the tea lounge. Add-ons such as massages and an Aescape robot massage can be booked onto the pass.
