Recover Float Spa

906 Town Center, Doylestown, PA

Recover (the full sign reads Recover Cold Plunge Contrast Therapy Float Spa and Infrared Sauna) is a private-suite recovery spa tucked into the Town Center of New Britain office park on the edge of Doylestown. It opened in early 2025 under a founder with more than 26 years in alternative health care, and it is built entirely around private rooms: three contrast-therapy suites pair full-spectrum infrared saunas at 140-160°F with circulating cold plunge tanks that can be set anywhere from 37 to 59°F, with mood lighting and pressure-point jets, and a newer semi-vertical plunge adds a slower, arctic-style dip. Open float rooms with about 1,200 pounds of Epsom salt round it out. Everything is by appointment. A standard contrast session is 15-20 minutes of infrared, three to five minutes in 50-59°F water, repeated and finished cold, for 60 minutes total; a 30-minute infrared-and-plunge slot is $45 and a 60-minute version $75, with first-visit rates of $30 for contrast ($60 for two), $27 for 30 minutes of infrared and $15 for a five-minute plunge. The signature InfraCold Float Circuit strings two sauna rounds, two plunges and a 30-minute float together for $120. A Legacy for Life membership starts around $27 a month; call for details. Bring a bathing suit and a towel (towels on request), and cancel at least 24 hours ahead to keep your session. The quiet, off-the-road location and the private suites, each with its own shower, lighting and sound, make it an easy pick for couples and anyone who would rather not share a plunge. A chiropractor is on staff for adjustments.
