Scents of Serenity's Midlothian spa sits in the Winterfield Crossing development on Winterview Parkway, the newest of founder Melanie Mueller's local organic spa group, opened in 2022 in a 3,800-square-foot space with ten treatment rooms, an herbal bath soak room, a shower room and a full-spectrum infrared sauna. The sauna is a private room rather than a shared one, combining near, mid and far infrared with color-light chromotherapy you pick yourself, and the air stays a gentle 120-140°F while the infrared warms you directly. This is the pick for someone who wants a sweat inside a proper day spa, or a first infrared session with zero social pressure. Sessions are sold as programs: Relaxation at 20, 30 or 40 minutes ($25, $35, $45), plus 30-minute Anti-Aging, Pain Relief and Weight Loss sessions ($35), a 37-minute Detox ($40) and a 45-minute Cardio ($50).
