Serenity Now Float Spa is a quiet wellness studio in a Winghaven Boulevard strip in O'Fallon, out in St. Charles County, built around four soundproof float cabins and a run of private rooms for heat and cold. Two of those rooms hold full-spectrum infrared saunas that switch on red and near-infrared light for the last half hour of a 40-minute session, and one pairs the sauna with a cold plunge for Fire & Ice, the spa's contrast session: four rounds of 10 minutes in a 135-150°F sauna and 3 minutes in roughly 48°F water. There is also a Himalayan salt room, PEMF mats, a Sonix sound-vibration table and massage chairs. Everything here is booked as a private appointment, so it suits first-timers and couples who would rather not share a bench with strangers. Fire & Ice runs 60 minutes plus 10 minutes to shower and dress, and the rooms come with towels, washcloths, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, so all you need is shower shoes if you want them. The spa does not post single-session prices online; memberships start at $75 a month for one contrast session or two sauna sessions, Silver doubles that for $145, and Gold covers unlimited solo services (massage excluded) for $399 a month on a three-month commitment. Happier Hours take 20% off non-massage services from 1 to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted. The studio leans into recovery more than spectacle: a team of massage therapists and a certified health coach run group programs for weight loss and quitting tobacco alongside the float and sauna rooms, and private group events can take over the space.
