SweatHouz North Wilmington is the Delaware outpost of the national contrast-therapy chain, on Silverside Road in North Wilmington's Brandywine Hundred, a short drive from the Pennsylvania line. The format is the brand's private suite: a Clearlight full-spectrum infrared sauna adjustable from 140 to 175°F, a single-person cold plunge tub held at 48-50°F and filtered between guests, and a vitamin C-infused shower, all behind your own door with your choice of music or streaming on the in-suite screen. Reviewers single out how clean it is and the size of the plunge tubs. Every booking is a 60-minute slot in which you move between heat, cold and shower at your own pace; first-timers often start at the low end of the sauna range and finish cold. The first session is $35 through the studio's intro page, and after that there are single sessions, prepaid packs and tiered monthly memberships (from two sessions a month up), usable at any SweatHouz nationwide. A guest can share your suite for an added fee. Two towels and EGO shampoo, conditioner and body wash are in each suite; bring swimwear or spandex shorts for the plunge (many go towel-only in the sauna), and arrive a few minutes early since sessions end on time for cleaning. It opens at 7 a.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. on weekends, an easy pre-work stop for northern Delaware and Delaware County commuters.
