SweatHouz (now branding itself SWTHZ) at Seaboard Station is a private contrast-therapy studio on the second floor of the Seaboard Station shopping district at the north edge of downtown Raleigh. Instead of a shared bathhouse, every booking gets its own suite with an infrared sauna, a cold plunge tub and a vitamin C shower, plus music or a show on the in-suite screen, so you can run hot and cold rounds without sharing the room with strangers. Sessions are 60 minutes, and you set the pace: most guests alternate several infrared rounds with short plunges and finish under the shower. A first visit is $40 (or $49 for a two-person "double dose"), a single drop-in is $70, packs run from 3 to 20 sessions, and memberships range from $79 for two visits a month to $249 for unlimited. Suites fit two, which makes it an easy date or friend plan, and the private format suits people who are self-conscious about a first cold plunge.
