The Club St. Louis is a men's bathhouse in the Loft District between Downtown and Midtown, part of The Clubs, a national chain of private men's saunas that has operated for more than 50 years. It is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and its thermal side is a dry sauna, a steam room and a sky-lit indoor whirlpool, with a heated outdoor pool on the patio in season, plus a gym, lounges, showers, private dressing rooms and a snack shop. It is an adult venue for gay, bi and other men: you must be 18 or older with a valid government photo ID, and entry works as a private club. Buy a membership at the desk ($14 one-time or $36 for three months, valid at every Club location), then rent a locker or private dressing room for up to six hours each visit. Lockers are $20 on weekdays and $24 on weekends (around $15-16 on weekday daytimes), rooms run $27 to $66, prices include tax, and there are free-entry specials for men 18 to 24 and on your birthday. It is walk-in only with no reservations, no alcohol or drugs are allowed, phones with cameras cannot be used inside, towels are supplied, and towels or sportswear are expected in public areas, with nudity allowed in the wet areas. Expect the heat rooms to be part of a social, cruising environment rather than a quiet spa. The club also hosts free HIV and STI testing with Vivent Health on a regular monthly schedule, open to members and non-members alike.
