The Grand Spa at The Grand America Hotel
555 S Main St, Salt Lake City, UT
The Grand Spa is the full-service spa inside The Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. The heat facilities are split by gender. Each locker area has a dry sauna with a Himalayan salt wall, a eucalyptus steam room, and a 17-head Experience Shower. Everyone shares the hot tub and indoor pool, and a seasonal outdoor pool opens in summer. There are also separate relaxation lounges for men, women, and couples, along with a fitness center and 18 treatment rooms. You don't need a hotel room to visit. Adults 18 and over can buy a Spa Pass through ResortPass for about $100, which covers the saunas, steam rooms, pools, hot tub, gym, and lounges for the day, plus tea, fruit, snacks, and self-parking. A treatment also gets you facility access for the day. Massages start around $190 for 50 minutes, plus a 20% service charge. Regulars can join for $150 a month after a $500 initiation fee, with a one-year commitment. The facilities are open 8am to 10pm Monday through Saturday and 8am to 7pm on Sunday. This is a classic, formal hotel spa, not a contrast-therapy studio. There is no cold plunge. It works best for a slow day of heat and water, a couples visit, or adding a sauna and steam to a massage.
