The Spa & Salon at ARIA

3730 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

The Spa & Salon at ARIA is the Forbes Five-Star spa in ARIA at CityCenter, often called the largest five-star spa in the US, and it leans Japanese in its heat. The signature pieces are the ganbanyoku beds (heated black mineral slabs set into the floor that you lie on, a side at a time) and the Shio salt room, lined with illuminated salt bricks. The locker-room spas add a trio of plunge pools (cold, hot and extra hot) and eucalyptus steam rooms, and an outdoor infinity therapy pool on a balcony above the pool deck is the one co-ed space. Access is by a daily facility fee, waived when you book a treatment. A 2021 guide put the fee at $50 Monday to Thursday and $100 Friday to Sunday for guests of ARIA, Vdara and Waldorf Astoria, so check current pricing and whether non-hotel guests can buy a pass without a treatment. The locker areas are clothing optional and 18+ (one 2024 guide says minors need supervision), treatments carry a 20% service charge, and guests are asked to arrive about 45 minutes early to use the facilities. Give the ganbanyoku beds the time they need: the rule of thumb is under ten minutes per side, then cold pool, then the fireside lounge.
