Voda Spa
7700 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA
Voda Spa is West Hollywood's old-school Russian bathhouse — a full-service day spa on Santa Monica Boulevard with two traditional Russian banyas, a Finnish dry sauna, a Turkish wet steam bath, an indoor swimming pool, cold plunge, jacuzzi, and ten treatment rooms. It's the kind of place where you spend the whole afternoon: cycle through the heat rooms, cool down in the pool, disappear for a Platza treatment (the classic oak-branch banya massage), then grab fresh juice in the lounge before starting another round. The spa is co-ed, so groups, couples, and solo visitors all mix in the bath areas. Unlike the Koreatown jimjilbangs, Voda leans upscale — soft lighting, quieter atmosphere, more treatment menu than communal floor — though the banya purists still come for the aromatic oak-leaf vennik service that remains the best in LA. At $110 for facility admission ($85 for members), it sits in the premium tier of LA bathhouses but is considerably less than a boutique recovery club membership if you visit regularly. Closed Tuesdays. Reservations recommended on weekends, when it fills with WeHo locals doing a long midday soak. A solid default for anyone who wants the Russian banya tradition in a polished setting.
