Agave, The Arizona Spa is the resort spa of the Westin Kierland in north Scottsdale, relaunched and rebranded after a renovation in spring 2024. The thermal core sits in the locker-room wing: a eucalyptus steam room, a dry sauna and a whirlpool hot tub, which open onto the Aguamiel spa pool, an adults-only pool kept apart from the resort's family pool complex with its lazy river and FlowRider. Treatments lean on the agave and desert-plant theme, from an Agua Sol ritual on a heated water cushion with basalt stones to red light therapy and CBD body rituals. You do not need a room to use it. A Spa Pass, sold through ResortPass from about $95 per adult, covers the steam room, sauna, whirlpool, the Aguamiel pool, the relaxation rooms, locker rooms with showers and the resort's fitness classes for the day; booking any treatment gets you the same facilities. Guests must be 18 or older, and the pass does not include the main resort pool complex, which is a separate, cheaper day pass. Hotel guests get a wellness ritual for two bundled into the resort fee, and Marriott Bonvoy Gold members and above get a daily spa pass. ResortPass lists the spa at 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily; confirm hours and pass availability on busy weekends before driving out. The spa also sells wellness and executive memberships for locals that fold in the steam, sauna, whirlpool and spa pool with fitness access and treatment discounts, which makes it one of the few north Scottsdale resort circuits you can treat as a regular rather than a splurge.
