Agni Miami is a hot yoga studio on Biscayne Boulevard in the MiMo district with a recovery room it calls the Fire & Ice Sanctuary. The fire is a full-spectrum infrared sauna running near, mid and far infrared with red light therapy built in; the ice is a cold plunge in the same space, and there is a small relaxation area to come down in afterwards. Agni (Sanskrit for fire) has a second studio in NoMi on NE 123rd Street with its own sauna-and-plunge recovery lounge. You can come just for the Sanctuary: a single Fire & Ice session is $39, the same as a drop-in class, and most people do three or four rounds between the heat and the cold at their own pace. Book through the studio schedule, arrive 15 minutes early, hydrate before and after, and check with a doctor first if you are pregnant or have heart or blood-pressure issues. Towels are provided and parking is free. Regulars should look at the All Access Unlimited membership ($299 a month), which bundles unlimited classes with unlimited sauna and plunge at both studios; a Mini plan ($109 a month) gives four classes or Fire & Ice sessions, and the $99 two-week intro includes sauna and cold plunge. It is a good entry point for yogis curious about contrast therapy, since you can stack a sweaty class with a sauna and plunge in one visit, and the vibe is more neighborhood studio than spa.
