Altered States Wellness The Colony opened in fall 2025 under franchisee Adrian Fernando (Libertus Group LLC) in the shopping strip past Target on State Highway 121, next door to 24 Hour Fitness and a short drive from Grandscape. Like its siblings it is a studio of closed doors: two float cabins for up to two people, themed as a cave-like Grotto and a cosmic Space Odyssey, two Fire & Ice rooms that each combine an infrared sauna cabin, a cold plunge and a Vitamin C shower, a full-body Neo red-light bed, and a Lab room with a PEMF mat, BrainTap headsets and compression boots. A side room with two massage chairs and a lounge round out the floor, and an LMT and an electrologist rent space on site. Sessions are by appointment and private, which suits couples and friends: both Fire & Ice rooms are built for two, so you can sweat and plunge side by side. The sauna tops out around 165-170°F and the plunge sits near 40-45°F; staff help you pick a starting temperature and a round structure, and the room's shower lets you rinse between the two. A Fire & Ice contrast session is $39 for 30 minutes or $59 for 60 minutes (add a friend for $19); a cold plunge alone is $29 (10-pack $99), an infrared sauna session of up to 45 minutes is $39, and The Lab is $29/$49 for 30/60 minutes. Memberships run from $109 a month (Calm State, 2 credits) to $319 for Peak State unlimited, with a three-month minimum. Towels are provided, a swimsuit is optional behind the closed door, and you should arrive 5-10 minutes early. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday; group parties of up to 20 can be booked. Couples bookings are the studio's signature: the Couples State Experience ($239) pairs the Lab and Fire & Ice with a shared-cabin float, and the Ultimate Date Night ($249, 24 hours' notice) adds champagne, charcuterie and flowers.
