Arden Salt Room & Sauna
1223 NC-16 Bus, Denver, NC
Arden Salt Room & Sauna is a small salt-therapy and infrared studio on NC-16 Business in Denver, on the west side of Lake Norman. Its saunas are low-temperature infrared cabins fitted with medical-grade chromotherapy lighting and music, and the salt rooms are lined floor to wall with rock salt while halogenerators fill the air with fine dry-salt particles. A private combo room puts a sauna and a salt booth in the same space for a 60-minute session. There is no cold plunge. Infrared sessions are 30 minutes and start on the quarter hour; salt sessions are 45 minutes on the hour, and the studio suggests doing the sauna first. A single session is $45 and $80 for two, packs of 5, 10 and 20 sessions run $160 to $450 across salt or sauna, and memberships go from $109 a month for four sessions to $179 for unlimited salt and sauna (signed in store). Booking ahead is recommended; walk-ins are taken if a room is free. First-timers should arrive 10-15 minutes early for paperwork and a locker, because sessions start on time and the door stays closed once they begin. Closed Sunday and Monday. It is a quiet, low-heat option for beginners or anyone after respiratory relief rather than an intense sweat.
