Atlanta Sauna Club
Atlanta, GA (address not yet announced), Atlanta, GA
This is a placeholder listing for an announced venue that is not open yet. Atlanta Sauna Club (its earlier working name, The Atlanta Baths, now redirects to the same site) plans to be a neighbourhood social sauna for intown Atlanta, with communal cedar container and barrel saunas, cold plunges at more than one temperature, a landscaped outdoor courtyard, a lounge, showers and changing rooms. Its tagline is "Nordic heat. Southern hospitality." The club does not have a site yet. As of late 2026 it is scouting intown neighbourhoods, mainly Inman Park, Edgewood, Candler Park, Kirkwood and Grant Park, for a spot with outdoor space that is easy to reach on foot, by bike and by car. It is aiming to open in mid-2027. The format is still being decided, but the founders expect a membership club with drop-in hours for first-timers. Founding memberships, pop-up sessions and early events will go to the waitlist first. No prices or hours have been announced. Founder Marcus Budline, an Atlanta entrepreneur who started his career at the Atlanta Track Club, got the idea on a visit to an Estonian bathhouse. He is pitching it as an antidote to private sauna pods: a casual, communal place to sweat before work or after a run, and part of your week rather than a special occasion.
