Beach Banya at Red Pelican

230 N Broadwalk, Hollywood, FL

Beach Banya is a Russian-style bathhouse inside the Red Pelican Bar & Hookah Lounge, right on the Hollywood Broadwalk with the sand a few steps from the door. It's a compact, old-school setup: a banya heat room (described as wood-fired), a large ozone steam room, and an ozonated cold plunge kept around 35-37°F. Between rounds you sit in the tea lounge with tea, honey and a fruit platter, and during your booking you're free to walk down to the ocean and back. Most visits are private hires. Booking the whole banya costs $150 an hour for one person or $120 an hour for two (two-hour minimum), rising to $140-$180 an hour for groups of three to five, and $65 a head for nine or more. Groups top out at 10. Book at least 24 hours ahead. Solo and couple slots run weekday mornings, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while groups can book from 9 a.m. to midnight, and a six-hour overnight package for 10 runs from midnight to 6 a.m. Prices exclude tax and an 18% service charge. Towels, robes, tea and parking are included; a venik is $25, slippers $5 and essential oils $7. The Red Pelican page also lists public walk-in banya sessions at $65 per adult ($50 for kids 10 and up) on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Wednesday midday, so call ahead to confirm. It's a good fit for a birthday or bachelor group: Russian steam, an ice-cold tub, then a walk into the Atlantic, with hookah available if you ask when you book.
