beem Light Sauna West McKinney occupies Unit 2150 of a newer mixed-use building on South Custer Road, on the Stonebridge Ranch side of McKinney between Eldorado Parkway and Stonebridge Drive, with a Planet Fitness and a few hundred apartments as neighbours. Franchise owner Esther Mainville opened it on May 20, 2024, and the format is the same locked-suite model as the rest of the brand: a full-spectrum infrared cabin, red light therapy and an eight-colour chromotherapy menu, with polished concrete floors and a calm, minimal lobby that regulars describe as zen rather than clinical. This is the budget-friendly entry in the DFW group. A first visit is the $29 BEEM Experience, which combines a 15-minute red light session with the 40-minute infrared sauna, and a single session after that is $49, among the lowest the brand publishes. Memberships are $109 for four sessions a month, $149 for eight and $179 unlimited, and the buy-5-get-5 ($209) and buy-10-get-10 ($369) packs stretch over six and twelve months. Towels and water are included, you change in your own suite, and you can book a Social Sauna for two. Hours are shorter than the Plano studios, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 9 to 3 on Friday and Saturday, and closed Sunday, so plan a weekday lunch or an early Saturday. Within a few minutes' drive along Custer there is also a Perspire infrared studio, which gives west McKinney an unusual amount of choice for private infrared sessions; beem's edge is the red light add-on and the HSA/FSA-eligible billing.
