City Cave Flagler Village is the Fort Lauderdale branch of the Australian float-and-wellness chain, set on E Sunrise Boulevard at the edge of Flagler Village. Everything happens in private rooms with their own showers: infrared sauna suites (with red light versions), open float pools rather than pods, filled with 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt and warmed to skin temperature, and massage rooms for Swedish, deep tissue, sports and prenatal work. An infrared session is 45 minutes and costs $55 ($35 on a first visit, $39 for members), or $75 with red light; couples can share a suite for $75. Packaged experiences string the rooms together, from Sauna + Float (about two hours, $139) to Complete Wellness with sauna, float and massage (about 3.5 hours, $279), and include robe, slippers and lounge time with tea. Memberships start at $39 a month. Book ahead online, give 24 hours' notice to cancel, and park free behind the building. Guests 16-17 can sauna or float with a parent on site; massage is 18+. City Cave is best for a quiet, unhurried reset rather than hard contrast training: come for the float and the heat, stay for the lounge.
