Club House Enc. took over a former spin studio on South Coast Highway 101 and rebuilt it into a community-driven sauna and cold plunge clubhouse. The model is part wellness studio, part neighborhood social hub — members drop in after work, after a surf, or before their evening walk down to the Encinitas pier. The space leans high-end without leaning sterile: real wood saunas, generously sized cold plunges, a small cafe-style lounge for the post-session decompression that's frankly the whole point. Membership tilts toward locals committed to the practice rather than ClassPass tourists, which gives the room its particular Encinitas-inflected character — surfers, yoga teachers, recovering tech founders, all sharing a plunge.
