Degree Wellness Flower Mound sits in a retail strip on Long Prairie Road (FM 2499), the town's main commercial spine, a few minutes south of Grapevine Lake. It opened in late February 2026 after founding memberships were sold through the winter, and it is a slightly larger build than the brand's other north-Texas studios: four private contrast suites, each with a full-spectrum infrared sauna and a cold plunge tub under one roof, a vitamin C-infused shower, TV, Bluetooth audio, chromotherapy lighting and a mini-fridge of chilled water. Separate suites hold the whole-body cryotherapy chamber (-175°F for three minutes), a red light bed and NAD+ chairs, with compression boots and an oxygen bar in a shared recovery space. Sessions are booked by phone, text or the Degree app, with walk-ins taken when a suite is free. A straight infrared sauna session is 45 minutes at a temperature you set yourself; the plunge is 47°F for a timed three to five minutes; contrast therapy alternates the two for 30 or 60 minutes and ends with a chilled aromatherapy towel and a shower. Robes, towels, sandals, plunge shorts and socks are provided. Your first session of any service is $25, and after that the studio sells memberships rather than a posted drop-in rate: Core $79 a month for two sessions, Premier $189 for eight, Unlimited $299 for daily use at any Degree studio, with family add-ons and 5- and 10-session packs. Three hours' notice to cancel, $10 if you don't, 16 and up with a guardian waiver under 18. The extra suite makes this a good pick for couples or a pair of friends who want to book side-by-side rooms at the same time, and the open-plan recovery area is where members tend to finish with compression boots before heading back onto 2499.
