Degree Wellness McKinney

1800 N Stonebridge Dr Ste 105, McKinney, TX

Degree Wellness McKinney is a recovery studio in the Stonebridge retail strip on North Stonebridge Drive, in the newer part of west McKinney near US 380. It opened on March 21, 2026 under owner Nicholas Schrapps as one of the franchise's first north-Texas studios, and everything happens behind a closed door: three private suites hold a full-spectrum infrared sauna and a cold plunge tub side by side, each with a vitamin C-infused shower, a big-screen TV, Bluetooth speakers, chromotherapy lighting and a mini-fridge of chilled water. Further suites hold a whole-body cryotherapy chamber (-175°F for three minutes), a red light bed and an NAD+ drip chair, and a shared area runs compression boots and an oxygen bar. The heat is a 45-minute infrared session at whatever temperature you choose; the cold is a 47°F plunge timed at three to five minutes; contrast therapy strings the two together in 30- or 60-minute cycles. You book by phone, text or the Degree app, walk in if a suite is free, and arrive ten minutes early. Robes, towels, sandals, plunge shorts and socks are all supplied, so you can come straight from work with nothing but hair and makeup items if you plan to shower after. A first session of any of the eight services is $25; after that the studio is built around memberships, with Core at $79 a month for two sessions, Premier at $189 for eight and Unlimited at $299 for daily use at any Degree studio, plus family add-ons and 5- and 10-packs. Cancel at least three hours ahead or pay a $10 fee. Guests must be 16 or older, with a guardian waiver under 18. This is contrast therapy as a scheduled, solo appointment rather than a social sauna: no bleachers, no shared plunge, just a quiet room with a timer, a cold aromatherapy towel at the end and a fridge of cold water. It suits people who want privacy, a predictable routine and the option to add IV drips, nutrient shots or a facial on the same visit.
