Degree Wellness Kierland is the Scottsdale studio of the Florida-born recovery franchise, in the Paradise Lane retail strip across from Kierland Commons. Five private contrast suites each hold a wood-panelled infrared sauna, a cold plunge tub, a vitamin C-infused shower and a mini-fridge of chilled water, and separate rooms house a -175°F cryotherapy chamber, red light beds and an IV lounge. Robes, sandals, towels and slippers are laid out for every booking, so you walk in with a swimsuit and little else. Everything is booked as a 'session': a 45-minute infrared sauna, a 3-5 minute cold plunge, a Contrast Therapy block (counted as one or two sessions), 3 minutes of -175°F cryotherapy, 15 minutes of red light, a 30-minute compression massage, a light facial or oxygen therapy. Degree does not print a single-session price; new clients pay $25 for a first session of any of the eight services and $119 for a first IV drip, and memberships cover the rest: Core at $79 a month for two sessions, Premier at $189 for eight, and Unlimited at $299 for unlimited sessions at any Degree studio nationwide, with family add-ons and up to 35% off IVs, NAD+ and nutrient shots. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are taken when a suite is free, and you can book online, by text or in the Degree app (Mindbody underneath). Bring a swimsuit; everything else, including socks and shorts for the plunge and gloves for cryo, is supplied. The five contrast suites are the draw for anyone who wants to do heat and cold alone or as a couple rather than in a communal room, and the studio pairs them with a menu of IV therapy, NAD+ and nutrient shots that is as much med-spa as bathhouse. Think of it as a private, appointment-driven recovery room rather than a social sauna.
