Dolce Vita is a day spa and medical spa in the Village at Rancharrah, the walkable shops-and-dining district built on the old Rancharrah estate in south Reno. The heat circuit lives in and around the locker rooms: a full-spectrum infrared session paired with steam, a eucalyptus steam room on the women's side, and a dry sauna, plus a jetted outdoor hot tub on the terrace looking out over Rancharrah Lake. Between rounds you can settle into the Ocean Lounge with its living tropical aquarium, a fireplace lounge, a women's lounge or the hammocks facing the water. It is built around treatments: massages, facials and body work on the day-spa side and injectables, lasers and body contouring on the medical side. Guests receive a locker, robe and slippers and are asked to arrive 30 minutes before an appointment to use the amenities. Day passes exist (a membership perk values one at $65) but are not priced on the website, so call to book one; a 60-minute massage runs about $160 on Monday to Thursday evenings and $185 and up on weekends. Memberships from $85 a month bundle treatment credits and day passes and are honored at sister spa The Refuge downtown. Guests 14 and over may use the amenities with a scheduled treatment and a supervising adult. The day spa is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, so an after-work soak is easy to fit in. The Nourish Bar rounds out a visit with drinks and health-minded refreshments, and the lakeside setting makes the outdoor tub the spot most guests remember.
