Eros Men's Spa is a men-only bathhouse on Nations Ford Road in southwest Charlotte, just off I-77 behind the Enterprise Car Rental lot. Inside it mixes a gay men's bathhouse with the hot rooms of a Korean spa: hot dry saunas, steam saunas and hot tubs alongside a Himalayan salt room, a red clay room, a hot stone room and earth-therapy and detox rooms, with open showers, private lockers and a TV lounge. It serves adult men only; women are not admitted to the spa and sauna areas. No appointment is needed: you pay at the door for an all-day pass with a private locker and towels, $40 for non-members or $30 for members. Memberships cost $100 for three months, $120 for six or $150 for a year, each sold with a first day pass, and are also valid at its Atlanta sister spa, Qi Clay Sauna. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Its site does not publish an ID or age policy, so call ahead if that matters. This is a social, cruisy space rather than a wellness studio, and online reviews are mixed, so it suits regulars of men's bathhouses more than first-time sauna-goers. Its clay and salt rooms are unusual in Charlotte.
