FLEX Spas Phoenix is the Phoenix branch of the national FLEX chain of gay men's bathhouses, a private, members-only club for adult men on the I-17 frontage road south of downtown that never closes. It is an adult venue: patrons are 18 and over, ID is checked at the desk, and the floor plan mixes private rentable rooms and video lounges with the wet areas that matter here, a dry sauna, a wet steam room, a saltwater jacuzzi and a heated outdoor pool on a patio with sun decks and a fire pit. There is also a full gym and plenty of showers; there is no cold plunge. Entry is in two parts. First you need a membership: a 24-hour day membership is $10, six months is $20 and a year is $35 (a $15 one-month tier is marked coming soon). Then you rent your space for an 8-hour block: a locker is $11 Monday through Thursday and $21 Friday through Sunday, small-to-deluxe changing rooms run $26-$56 on weekdays and $29-$63 on weekends, and themed suites go higher, with event pricing on Pride, Rainbows Festival and party weekends. So a weekday locker visit costs about $21 all in. Weekly specials and coupons are weekday-only. Expect the pool-and-jacuzzi patio to be the social center and the sauna and showers to wind down around midnight. The club runs themed nights through the week, and because it never closes it is the easy late-night option when every other sauna in town is dark.
