FLEXspas Atlanta is a private men's bathhouse in Midtown, on 4th Street near the Connector, open 24 hours a day. It is an adult venue for men 18 and over, aimed at gay and bisexual men. Facilities include a dry sauna, a steam room, a hot tub, an outdoor swimming pool and a full gym, with lockers and private changing rooms for rent. Entry is in two steps. First you buy a membership: a 24-hour day pass is $10, six months $20 and a year $35. Then you rent a locker or a room for an 8-hour stay. On weekdays (Monday-Wednesday) a locker is $11 and rooms run $21-$81. From Thursday to Sunday a locker is $21 and rooms run $26-$86, with higher rates on Pride and event weekends. A weekday visit with a locker comes to about $21 before tax. Bring valid photo ID to register as a member; the website states that no one under 18 may use it. The building has operated as a men's bathhouse under several names for more than 40 years and has been renovated recently. Holiday weekends such as MLK and Labor Day are the busiest times. Weekday specials and coupons are not valid on weekends, holidays or event dates.
