Fort Worth Float Company is a small storefront float studio on River Oaks Boulevard, northwest of downtown, that calls itself the first float tank in Fort Worth and, since adding the hot-and-cold room in 2020, the first place in the city with a commercial cold plunge. Three float rooms (a pod, a standard cabin and a deluxe couples cabin) sit alongside a halotherapy salt booth, Roxiva light sessions and one private contrast room with an infrared sauna cabin and a single cold tub that runs down to 39°F, sanitized with ozone, UV and a fine cartridge filter. Guests describe the sauna reaching about 140°F. Everything is booked by the room, so you always have the sauna and tub to yourself or your group: a cold-tub-only dip is $20, 30 minutes of sauna plus cold tub is $35, an hour is $55 for one or $90 for two, and a group sauna session is $99. A 10-pack of plunges is $149 and a 5-pack of sauna-and-plunge sessions is $199; sauna-and-plunge memberships are $129 a month for once a week or $149 for twice. Floats run $74 for 60 minutes or $94 for 90, with a $64 first-timer float on Mondays and Tuesdays. The studio asks for 12 hours' notice to cancel and suggests a few days of cold showers and some Wim Hof breathing before a first plunge. The booking grid runs 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Google lists the studio closed on Thursdays.
