Gaythering

Gaythering is a gay-owned hotel in a 1958 MiMo-style building on Lincoln Road in South Beach, and its men's wellness sauna is open to day visitors as well as hotel guests. It is an adult men's club for gay, bi and curious men, set up on a small scale: a dry cedar sauna, a jacuzzi hot tub, showers and lockers, with quieter private spaces off the main area. There is no cold plunge. Entry is for men 21 and over with a physical government-issued ID. A day pass is $25 plus tax, dropping to $15 during happy hour (3-5 p.m.) and all day on Tuesdays, and a 30-day membership is $125; hotel guests get unlimited sauna access during their stay. A towel and a locker come with entry, and there is no booking, just walk in. The sauna opens at 3 p.m. daily and runs until midnight Sunday through Thursday and 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with last entry 45 minutes before close for day-pass guests. The hotel bar next door is a Lincoln Road gayborhood regular with karaoke Mondays, trivia Wednesdays and bingo Thursdays, so a visit can end with a drink downstairs. It is billed as Miami Beach's only gay hotel, and its sauna is the beach-side alternative to the mainland bathhouses.
