Health Hax is a 4,000-square-foot recovery and longevity studio on the second floor of a Gateway Boulevard office building in Mooresville, just off I-77 on the Lake Norman side of Charlotte. The thermal side of the menu is a private Sunlighten infrared cabin, a Geyser steam room that hovers near 115°F, and a dedicated Plunge Room built around a Chilly Goat cold plunge held at roughly 38-45°F. For contrast in one go, the Private Contrast Room puts its own infrared sauna and plunge behind a locking door. Around that sit whole-body cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen, a red-light and salt room, Normatec compression, PEMF, lymphatic drainage and RN-run IV hydration, 22 modalities in all. Everything is booked by appointment and no membership is needed: the infrared sauna is $25 for 30 minutes, the steam room and cold plunge are $20 each, and the Private Contrast Room is $65. Memberships start at $149 a month (Base, pick five modalities including sauna, steam and plunge) and run to $249 and $399 tiers that add light, performance and medical-grade services, on a three-month minimum. A coordinator walks first-timers through the plunge, and the studio recommends heat before cold. Bring water and a towel, complete the intake form before you arrive, and cancel at least an hour ahead to avoid the $30 late fee. This is a clinical, gadget-forward kind of recovery rather than a social sauna: quiet rooms, short timed sessions and staff on hand, which makes it an easy first contrast session for anyone nervous about the cold.
