Icebox Cryotherapy South Reno is the franchise's studio in the South Creek retail center on Foothill Road, opened in June 2021 by local couple Chris and Andrea Guzman as the brand's first location in Nevada. The centerpiece is a whole-body cryotherapy chamber that drops to around -200°F for a session of about three minutes, backed by localized cryo for a single sore knee or shoulder, compression boots, full-body red light and infrared light therapy, and a facial menu built on cryo-facials. A whole-body cryo session is $40 at the regular rate, localized cryo is $35 and compression is $25, and most regulars come on a membership: plans start at $79 a month for six service credits, and Premium at $229 a month buys unlimited whole-body cryo plus ten credits for other services, with shareable family plans up to $399. Booking is online, the studio is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, and a whole visit, chamber plus compression, fits easily into a lunch break. There is no sauna or plunge tub here, so it is a cold-only stop: worth it for athletes and anyone curious about cryotherapy, but pair it with a heat session elsewhere if you are after a full contrast routine.
