Legion Performance Club

900 Muhly Grass St Ste 105, Mount Pleasant, SC

Legion Performance Club is a family-owned HYROX gym in Carolina Park, opened in December 2025 by coach Mike Alexander, and it earns its place here for its private recovery suite. The suite is yours alone for the booking: a full-spectrum infrared sauna with red light therapy built in, a cold plunge and a private shower, set up for contrast therapy where you swap between heat and cold at your own pace. You do not need to train at Legion to use it. Non-members can book a private sauna, cold plunge or contrast session through the Legion app or train.legionperformanceclub.com, paying at booking, or reserve the suite through ClassPass, which lists sauna, plunge and combined contrast blocks of roughly 15 to 45 minutes. Regulars can buy a Recovery Membership at 4 or 8 visits a month or unlimited, and the gym's unlimited training membership includes two 50-minute sauna-and-plunge sessions a month. Hours run 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday; the gym posts any Sunday hours on Instagram. The club bills itself as Charleston's official HYROX training facility, so the crowd skews toward race-prep athletes, runners and people working with coaches, and the suite is built as the cool-down to a sled-and-wall-ball class. It sits in the Muhly Grass Street retail building at the Wando High School entrance, handy for anyone in north Mount Pleasant.
