Life Time Happy Valley-Peoria
24700 N 67th Ave, Peoria, AZ
Life Time Happy Valley-Peoria is the biggest Life Time in Arizona: a three-story, roughly 170,000-square-foot, $50 million club near 67th Avenue and Hatfield Road that opened February 1, 2021 with a rooftop beach club, indoor lap pool, indoor pickleball and basketball courts, a Kids Academy, LifeSpa and a LifeClinic chiropractor. The heat-and-cold offer is the most complete of the valley's Life Times: a cedarwood dry sauna and eucalyptus steam room in the shared wellness area, a second sauna and steam room inside each locker room, three whirlpools (indoor, locker room and pool deck) and indoor cold plunge pools for contrast rounds. Non-members can buy a $50 day pass online that Life Time says covers all classes, the pools, 'sauna, steam room and locker room', courts and child care at this one location; if you join, the $50 is credited toward your first month. Adult memberships start at $219 a month, month-to-month with 30 days' notice, and members can host a guest once every 60 days per guest. Towels, toiletries and keyless day lockers are supplied. Hours are 4 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends. A members-only bar, all-day coffee bar and poolside bistro make it easy to turn a sauna-and-plunge session into an afternoon. The club has posted partial shower-area closures in the past, so check the app's club alerts before you go.
