Life Time Scottsdale Fashion Square is the chain's four-level, 50,000-square-foot 'athletic country club' built into the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall on Goldwater Boulevard, opened March 3, 2023 and billed by the company as one of the most exclusive clubs in its network. The thermal circuit lives in the luxury dressing rooms: a cedarwood dry sauna, a eucalyptus steam room, an indoor whirlpool and two indoor cold plunge pools sit side by side, so a sauna-plunge-whirlpool round is a few steps in either direction. Upstairs, the rooftop beach club adds an outdoor lap pool, cabanas, an outdoor whirlpool, a poolside bistro and a members-only bar with Camelback Mountain views. This is a members-only building. Adult memberships start at $349 a month (month-to-month, 30 days' notice to cancel), the club runs no children's programming, and the Fashion Square page does not publish a day pass, unlike Life Time's suburban Phoenix clubs. The realistic ways in without joining are a complimentary guided tour booked online, or a member's guest pass, which Life Time limits to once every 60 days per guest and requires the member to be present. Note that outdoor pool-deck access can carry a separate fee even for members. The pitch is less gym than private club: Pilates and reformer studios, dedicated yoga and cycle rooms, Dynamic Stretch and recovery sessions, a LifeSpa with estheticians and massage, laundry and towel service, and a coffee and juice bar. Weekday hours start at 4 a.m.; weekends open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
