LiveColder is a private recovery studio in a North Scottsdale plaza on Hayden Road, built so that nothing is shared: every service has its own room, the lighting is dimmed and tinted blue, and small waterfalls run in the background. The heat is a red light + infrared sauna cabin rather than a traditional hot room, the cold is a plunge tub plus whole-body and localized cryotherapy, and the rest of the menu is NormaTec leg compression, massage, facials, lymphatic drainage and stretch therapy, so a visit can be a quick contrast round or a two-hour recovery block. Sessions are booked online by the slot: 15 minutes in the cold plunge or 30 minutes in the sauna run $30 each, an extended 40-minute sauna is $40 and a 5-minute cryo session is $30. Regulars buy the Recovery 8 ($199 a month, eight visits with up to three services each, about $25 a visit) or Unlimited Recovery ($239 a month); both add member pricing on massage and facials, and unlimited cryo or PEMF can be bolted on for $30 a month. The studio supplies robes, towels, socks and crocs, so you only need comfortable clothes, and first-timers are asked to sign a waiver before arriving. Weekday hours split around a 1-2 pm break; weekends run 10 am to 4 pm. Because the whole space can be closed to one party, LiveColder has become a go-to for Scottsdale bachelorette and team outings: a 2.5-hour private rental starts around $99 a person (up to 12 people in services at once, 25 in the building), and guests can bring their own food, drinks and music.
