Mokara Spa at Omni PGA Frisco

4341 PGA Pkwy, Frisco, TX

Mokara Spa sits on the ground floor of the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, the 500-room golf resort that opened in 2023 beside the PGA of America headquarters on PGA Parkway in north Frisco. It is a full-service hotel spa with 20 treatment rooms and a salon, but the thermal draw is behind the locker-room doors: the men's and women's relaxation wings each hold a dry sauna, a steam room and a whirlpool, and both open onto a private heated spa pool and terrace with cabanas and poolside service from the Green Cactus Cafe, a cafe reserved for spa guests. The look is warm and bright, more prairie-modern than marble. Non-guests have two ways in. Any treatment buys the full day in the sauna, steam, whirlpool and spa pool, and the Mokara Spa Pass sold through ResortPass (from about $100, occasionally $75 on quiet dates) grants the same access with no treatment at all; spa-pool cabanas run from $400 for four. Omni's own policy is that the facilities are otherwise reserved for spa guests on the day of their service, with hotel guests able to buy a day pass subject to availability. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; book treatments online 24 hours ahead or call for same-day, and bring a swimsuit for the co-ed pool deck. The spa does not have a cold plunge, so contrast is limited to a cool shower between rounds. With the resort's adults-only rooftop infinity pool and Tiki Social family pool on the same property, it is an easy day-trip pairing: spa circuit in the morning, pool pass in the afternoon.
