Nova Wellness
100 W Worthington Ave #106, Charlotte, NC
Nova Wellness is a physician-owned recovery and aesthetics studio in the Design Center building on W Worthington Avenue in South End. For heat and cold, it offers private 45-minute sessions in a Sunlighten mPulse infrared sauna (set around 135°F, adjustable to 150°F), a cold plunge booked in 15-minute slots, and contrast therapy that pairs the two. Whole-body and localized cryotherapy, a salt room, a red light bed, compression, IV and NAD+ therapy and a medical aesthetics menu share the space. An infrared sauna or a contrast session is $49, and a cold plunge or cryotherapy session is $29. Packs of five or ten core services ($189 / $349) and a ten-pack of cryo and cold plunges ($180) bring the per-visit cost down, and monthly core memberships run $120 for four treatments, $190 for eight and $250 for twelve, up to a $399 Premier plan with 30 treatments; members can share treatments with a guest. Bring a water bottle and something light to change into; towels are provided. Reviewers single out how clean the sauna and plunge are and how the staff talk first-timers through their first plunge. It is a good pick if you want a guided, medically supervised setting in walking distance of South End's light rail.
