Pause Studio Coral Gables opened in August 2025 on the second floor of The Plaza Coral Gables, the mixed-use development on Palermo Avenue, and is one of the polished, spa-like outposts of the Los Angeles-born recovery chain. Its contrast-therapy suites are private rooms, each with a full-spectrum infrared sauna for two to four people, a cold plunge kept around 38-50°F and an en-suite shower stocked with Le Labo. This was also the first studio to get Sauna Social, Pause's communal room with a large infrared sauna and two two-person plunges. The wider menu covers float tanks, whole-body cryotherapy, Normatec compression, LED light beds and IV drips. Sauna Social is the easy way in: $35 for a 60-minute reserved hour in a shared suite. Swimsuits or athletic wear are required, no phones or photos, and the studio curates the music. A private contrast suite runs about $99 an hour and suits couples or friends who want the room to themselves; the house rhythm is nine minutes of heat, three minutes of cold and a minute of rest, repeated. Credit-based memberships start at $159 a month for 12 credits and also work at the Brickell studio. Book ahead, arrive 10 minutes early (there is a 15-minute grace period) and cancel more than six hours out to avoid a $30 fee. Guests aged 16-17 need written parental consent. Listed hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.
